This Saturday evening (7 p.m.), Aude will be celebrated. The Racing Club Narbonnais and the US Carcassonne compete for a place in the final on the lawn of the Sports and Friendship Parc. The crowds have already reached the 8,000 spectators’ mark.
The impressive start of the native Racing Club Narbonnais semi-final store had already set the tone last week. In just 48 hours, 4,000 sesames had already found takers. And yet, we did not yet know the opponent of the orange and black. Since last Saturday, and the victory of US Carcassonne against Albi (18-0), the entire Audois department has known. It will therefore be a seventh classic’aude for a place in the final.
The influx of this meeting has therefore constantly increased since. So much so that this Thursday, late afternoon, the 8,000 tickets were reached. In this number of spectators, a large majority is necessarily Narbonnais. Since before Monday, and the sale of the tickets allocated to the US Carcassonne, the Pech of Laclause and Clape stands.
This is how the yellow and black had to compete 600 places. 200 in the Clape Tribune were taken primarily by club partners. When groups of supporters had 400 seats in the southern bend.
8,000 places sold, in a sports park which can accommodate a maximum of 9,300 spectators, the closed window is fast approaching. It would be the second, after last year’s access-match against Montauban.
