Yes we finish third on equal points and 5th in Goal-Everage, our goal was to qualify in the last square. I think you have to look in front and focus on the semi-final.
Was there a particular tactical approach during the late match against St-Gaudens to choose the opponent of the dam?
Against St-Gaudens, we played to win. I congratulate all the players for the match they have completed this allowed us to align some players for the future. They did the job. Bravo to the whole team.
This victory on the pia field had to make you particularly happy, you who have known everything with this club as a player?
Yes I spent ten very good years in Pia and I have an excellent memory. The Ambert Marc and Philippe family are people for whom I have a lot of affection. They brought a lot to the PIA club.
How do you explain this big performance in the face of Catalans who were given favorite?
-Pia had the advantage of playing at home. We prepared this meeting well so as not to finish the season quickly. The victory smiled at us. I want to congratulate all the players who did not let go until the end.
Three years without victory, Albi is still the Limouxins black cat.
Do this victory, like that of Villeneuve in St-Estève, tend to prove that this championship is increasingly homogeneous?
For a few seasons, the level has risen more and more. All the teams are strengthened and prepare to be efficient. The championship is tightening and it is auspicious for rugby to 13.
In Albi, it will still be another music against the championship leader who has been your real black cat for several seasons?
Albi does not succeed, three years without victory in front of them but we humbly work with a lot of desire to compete with them. We will give the maximum hoping to be up to this semi-final. Albi is a very beautiful team and it is not chance if they have finished leader of the championship.
The XIII Limouxin is capable of big blows, as in Pia or Domec, do you think you are in physical and mental capacity to reissue performance on the field of Mazicou?
One semi-final you have to play it thoroughly to win it. I am convinced that the two teams will do the maximum and the best will prevail.
