Floods: motorists circulate on closed road sections

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD) appeals to caution during this period.

A dozen road sections remain closed due to floods.

We were notified that there are people who move the obstacles when roads or bridges are closed. People do not know if there is something on the road that we do not seewarns the spokesperson for the Ministry of Transport, Nicole Gaulin.

The most recent closure concerns route 386 in the Belcourt sector. Light vehicles can no longer run up to the Paquin stream.

The St-Edmond chemin in Val-d’Or, the Rang Lavigne in Rouyn-Noranda and the main street in Amos are completely closed.

Several bridges that cross the Turgeon and the Leslie stream in the Val-Paradis and Beaucanton sector also remain closed.
