On May 6 at dawn, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack on the city of Kharkiv, injuring four civilians. Several fires broke out in the city, one of which has ravaged the Barabachovo market.
According to the chief of the military administration of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Synegoubov, the drones targeted four districts of the city. An acute stress reaction was diagnosed in four people.
“At dawn, twenty Shahed enemy drones attacked Kharkiv in several waves. The massive attack lasted more than two hours and fires broke out on the place of attacks ”, said Oleh Synehoubov, governor of the Kharkiv Oblast.
A house, two cars and a restaurant caught fire, another house was damaged in various districts in the city.

The largest city market known as Barabachovo was also ravaged by flames. According to a market manager, Oleksandre Makarenko, informed that 90 pavilions had burned, a hundred pavilions were damaged.
“Barabachovo has an area of more than 75 hectares. The enemy has attacked this market several times. In the first six months of the large -scale invasion, up to 30 % of points of sale were damaged or destroyed ”he deplored.
