(AOF) – Palant Technologies (-11.82% to 109.90 dollars) failed in the place of the S&P 500, the profit per share only came out online with expectations. Revenues from the data analysis software company have also exceeded expectations, but in lower proportions than during the previous quarters. However, as Jefferies point out, the valuation of Palantir Technologies is “irrational”, at 56 times the income expected in 2026. Not all analysts share this opinion. Since the beginning of 2025, the Palant Technologies action has increased by 63%.

In the quarter, the data analysis software company recorded a net profit from the group up 24% to $ 214 million, or 8 cents per share. It came out at 13 cents per action, online with expectations. The adjusted operating profit has increased by 44% to $ 390.70 million.

Its income increased by 39% to 883.86 million dollars, exceeding expectations: $ 862.8 million. UBS underlines that the growth of the technological group has accelerated for the seventh consecutive quarter.

On the commercial level, the company has concluded 139 contracts of at least $ 1 million, 51 of at least $ 5 million and 31 of at least $ 10 million during the quarter.

Thanks to this good start to the year, the data analysis software company is more optimistic on 2025.

Palantant now tables revenues between 3.89 and 3.902 billion dollars compared to $ 3.741 to $ 3.757 billion before. The adjusted operating profit is expected between 1.711 and $ 1.723 billion, compared with a previous range of 1.551 to 1.567 billion dollars.

“We remain very impressed by fundamental history, but valuation remains our main problem, and we remain neutral,” explains UBS.
