This age limit obviously does not aim all the functions. According to La Défense, for candidates for the pilot post, the maximum age to apply is under 26 years of age. Other exceptions also exist : You must be under the age of 31 for a post of candidate non-commissioned officer, under 33 for candidates for the post of officer and under 34 years old when it comes to a postulant of the “medical technical” trades sector.
The age limits to be a voluntary reserve candidate is under 35, 51 for reservists, officers and non-commissioned officers, and under 34 years in all other cases.
