A 56-year-old driver was indicted for murder after the death of the wife of her passenger, whom she would have struck with her vehicle in Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis (North).
The facts date back to Thursday, May 1 in Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis, east of Cambrai. A 50 -year -old woman was then struck by a motorist, the alleged mistress of her husband who was then seated on the passenger side.

Around 5 a.m., she would have surprised her husband and her mistress (56 years old) in a car. The vehicle would have “rolled the victim”, which would quickly died of his injuries, reports our colleagues from La Voix du Nord.
The two passengers did not fled and were arrested on the spot by the police and placed in police custody for voluntary homicide and complicity. According to the Cambrai prosecutor’s office, the man and his wife had children and were in the process of separation.
The driver was charged this Tuesday, May 6 for murder and placed under judicial supervision.
