Curtain raising on the 4ᵉ edition of the Al Hoceïma International Film Festival [Vidéo]

The activities of the 4ᵉ edition of the International Film Festival started this Monday, May 5, 2025 on Monday, in the city of Al Hoceïma, in a festive atmosphere and in the presence of a renowned artistic and cultural audience, under the theme “Young cinema”.

The festival, which continues until May 10, is organized by the Rif Foundation association for culture and cinema, in partnership with the Moroccan cinematographic center.

The opening ceremony was marked by the presentation of the official jury, made up of emblematic figures of the world of cinema, as well as by tributes paid to several cinematographic personalities, in recognition of their contributions, including the Moroccan director Jamal Belmajdoobthe Egyptian screenwriter Medhat the ADLand the French actor Dominique Pinon.

This opening announces the launch of a week rich in projections and film activities, reflecting the assertive desire to make Al Hoceïma a platform dedicated to cinematographic creativity and youth.
