Reduce the costs of superproductions
Indeed, it would, according to him, lower the costs of special effects, by reducing production times. “If we want to continue to see films with big special effects, we must find a way to reduce their cost by half. It is not a question of dismissing half of the staff of the special effects company. It is a question of doubling the production speed, ”says James Cameron.
Today, it is true that Hollywood blockbusters are increasingly expensive to achieve. This is dependent on the production teams who struggle to reimburse their colossal budgets of several hundred million euros and therefore to make profit.

Human emotions stronger than AI
“I do not believe that the AI can one day produce something that can move an audience. You have to be a human to write this, ”reassures James Cameron in this regard.
