In a completely crazy return semi-final, Inter Milan dominated FC Barcelona (4-3, AP) and thus qualified for the Champions League final. Unforgettable.

Barça, resurrected in six minutes
Back to the wall and the edge of the chasm, the Barcelonais left in combat invigorated and revitalized, as if the score was still zero and virgin. A few minutes before the time of play, Eric Garcia rekindled the flame and the Blaugranas hopes by taking up a center from the left magnificently (2-1, 54th). A goal that sounded the Catalan revolt, led by the prodigious Lamine Yamal – author of a fantastic performance during the first leg – also untenable during this return round.

In the wake of the reduction of the Spanish score, Dani Olmo presented the two teams tied, to plunge, a second time, this double confrontation in the irrational (2-2, 60th). Everything had to be redone for Inter, then cornered in defense, undergoing the frantic assaults of Barça. A colossal pressure which was right a third time from the Milanese, punished by the inevitable Raphinha (2-3, 87th). A few moments from the final whistle, while the Nerazzurri appeared helpless and resigned for good, Francesco Acerbi came out of nowhere to send the two training courses (3-3, 90th+3). The cumulative score on the double confrontation was then 6-6. Mythical.

Eternal Nerazzurri, cursed blaugranas
After 180 minutes of pure madness, half an hour was to decide between the two teams. And in this decisive moment, it was the Lombards who had the last word. Income from underworld and guided by an uncontrollable rage, the integrators applied the blow of grace in Barça, through the entrant Davide Drattesi, author of a sublime chain (99th, 4-3). Helcomed and crushed by a scenario to lose the reason, the Barcelonans have never been able to return to the yet another time, disappointed by the indestructible resilience of the Nerazzurri.

Yann heroic Sommer
The Catalans, throwing their last forces in the battle and trying to put their Yamal jewel in orbit, stumbled on the Inter Guardian, Yann Sommer, in a state of grace. The 37 -year -old porter – author of seven judgments in this meeting – simply disgusted Barcelona, man of the match and this Milanese qualification. Perfect until the end, the Swiss sent his team to the Champions League final, for the second time in three years. For their part, the Catalans, exceeded by the turn of events – which have conceded ten goals over their last three outings in C1 – have gone on the verge of finding the summit of European football. Cortered with talent, the eleven of Hansi Flick showed his shortcomings in this sumptuous, especially defensive semi-final, before shattering on the inter-artist experience.

In the final, the Nerazzurri will face either PSG or Arsenal, which will decide in the Parc des Princes tomorrow. Author of a majestic performance, after a double historical confrontation, the Lombards will try to win at the end of the month in Germany their fourth continental title. An end of competition that could be in apotheosis for the latter, who have (already) marked the spirits at the end of this semi-final of the Champions League, which could be considered the greatest in history.
