The Rio de Janeiro police were able to thwart an attack that aimed at the Lady Gaga’s free concert which attracted more than 2 million people on Saturday evening in the Brazilian metropolis.

This bomb attack would have been orchestrated by a group promoting hate speech and the radicalization of adolescents, according to what the Rio Janeiro police indicate on his X account.
“The plan manager was arrested and a teenager was apprehended,” said one.
“The suspects were recruiting participants, including minors, so that they attack in a coordinated manner using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktail,” added the police.
Dozens of seizures have also been carried out in connection with this criminal group in several states of the country.
“The alert concerning this criminal project came from the under-secretariat of the intelligence of the civil police, and the surveys were able to quickly be opened,” says the police force.
Lady Gaga’s free concert in Rio de Janeiro went without incident in front of 2.1 million people.
It was his first performance in this South America country since 2012.
Police surveillance was particularly increased for the event.
The national police have notably seized more than 30 sharp objects and more to carry out several arrests related to the drug trafficking on the sidelines of the event.
