A new start. On November 28, 2024, the base, associative place established on Boulevard de la Marne in Rouen, was destroyed in a terrible fire. A new, more suitable room

“We are proud to finally be able to open a sustainable place, inclusive and open to all,” said the base in a press release.

After the fire, The base had been able to temporarily resume its activities in a premises located at Place Henri IV, “but it was too small,” says Ael Trevillymember of the collegiate of the Base.

The association, which had already visited this house on rue Geuffroy, was finally contacted at the end of December by the owner. The case was concluded.

From April, the members were able to take possession of the premises. “It is much more suitable for our activities. It’s large, 300 m², and above all very well divided, ”says Ael Trevilly.

Another positive point, Le Large gardenmade available to associations to organize their respective events. For the moment, eleven associations have already signed in order to settle regularly in these new premises. “And there are still two free offices,” says Ael Trevilly.
