In intervention on the fact of a short restaurant, a police officer was pushed by a copper thief. The officials of the civil servant are not in danger.
A police officer almost lost his life while pursuing copper thieves in Ormesson-sur-Marne (south-east of Paris). As relates The Parisianthe police officer of the Night Bac de Champigny (Val-de-Marne) fell from the roof of a short-closed restaurant for several months. He gets away with a head trauma.
The policeman was even pushed by one of the thieves surprised according to the first elements of the investigation. The bac had intervened discreetly by going up on the roof to challenge the criminals by taking them on the fact. But when they saw the police, the copper thieves tried to escape and in their flight one they had pushed a police officer who fell from “five to six meters”, according to our colleagues.
A fall of 5 to 6 meters
The victim’s head would have struck a concrete slab and was rescued by the firefighters who transported him to Henri-Mondor hospital where doctors made him pass a scanner. His vital prognosis was not committed.
A first suspect, the one who would have pushed the police officer, was arrested on the spot. Two other men were arrested approximately 150 meters from the courtyard while they were about to flee by car. The three individuals, of Romanian nationality, were placed in police custody.
