She is also close to genealogists, on the one hand for having been director of the Departmental Archives of the Sum from 2000 to 2002, on the other hand by her participation in several events, in 2011 where she intervened in the conference “ Our ancestors and work “, Or at the forum” Gene@2016 “, And even, more recently, on the occasion of the” Genealogy week », Last fall. In 2023, she also led an internship lasting six weeks, as part of the university degree “ History of families and genealogy »From the National School of Charters.
Originally from Strasbourg, Marie-Françoise Limon-Bonnet graduated from the National School of Charters as Archivist-Paléographer in 1991, and the following year of the National Institute of Heritage, as a curator in the specialty “ Archives ». Having deepened her university career in the history of law at Paris II-Assas University, she is now considered a specialist in legal issues linked to the archives.
