The Civil Defense of Gaza reported at least 24 people killed for night in Israeli bombings on Palestinian territory on Thursday, where Israel has been blocking any humanitarian aid for almost two months. The Israeli army ended on March 18 to two months of truce with Hamas and resumed its offensive in the Gaza Strip, launched on October 7, 2023 in retaliation for the bloody attack of the Palestinian Islamist movement on Israeli soil. Since the night, eight people have been killed in an Israeli air strike on the Abu Sahloul family house in the Khan Younès refugee camp in the south of the territory, a civil defense official, Mohammed al-Moughayer told AFP. Four other people have succumbed to an aerial bombardment in the Al-Tuffah district of the city of Gaza (North), he added. At least 12 other people were killed in seven distinct attacks across the territory, one of which hit a tent for people displaced in the city of Deir El-Balah (Center), according to Civil Defense. “”We found all these destroyed houses, children, women and young people shredded by bombing […] We are tired, enough!“Said Ahmed Abou Zarqa after the murderous strike at Khan Younès.”We prefer to die rather than to live this kind of life“. Images of AFP show Palestinians excavating the rubble of buildings destroyed in search of bodies, which were extracted and taken on stretchers.
