The anxious singer has the idea of being far from his family
For this new anniversary issue of Meeting in unknown landKendji Girac embarked with Frédéric Lopez to a remote region and dry from northwest Kenya. A place where the Turkana live, a people of nomadic shepherds installed around a huge salty lake. Shortly before departure, when he went to the airport, the singer entrusted his disorder to the idea of such a distance. Very attached to his relatives, whom he sees daily, he recognized: “It’s not often that I go so long without news, It’s the first time even. We are not very used to separation … to know that I will leave the little one without news, fifteen days … I am on the verge of shed a tear a little anyway. It is imbalance.” (…)
