Robb Flynn, singer and guitarist of Machine Head, returns to his long collaboration with Jordan Fish, ex-member of Bring Me The Horizon, stressing the major impact of the musician on the group’s new disc, Unatønedfresh out.

In a recent interview with LoudwireRobb Flynn shared his enthusiasm about Jordan Fish, longtime collaborator of Machine Head. Their partnership dates back to 2014, at the time of Bloodstone & Diamondsand has been strengthened over the years, until today leads to an essential participation on Unatøned.
Flynn and explicit: “I have been working with Jordan for ten years now. It might seem like a new collaboration for some, but we already have four albums together. At this point, I consider him as an integral part of the team. It is a kind of genius.”
The Machine Head Frontman also detailed the creative approach of Fish: “Sometimes I just asked him to put his ideas, and he sent me 70 different tracks. Sometimes it was simply a hi-human or a shaker, other times of ropes, piano or subtle textures. Everything was not used, but his contribution added a new depth and dimension to the songs.”
A new intense album and upcoming concerts
The eleventh album of Machine Head, Unatønedhas been available since April 25, 2025 via Nuclear Blast and Imperium Recordings. Described as a disc “Sharp, forged in creative discipline”it offers ten compact pieces, interspersed with two instrumental interludes, without exceeding four minutes per song.
Machine Head will start a European tour this summer to defend Unatønedwith several dates in French -speaking countries:
