Contested in very complicated weather conditions, the Portugal GP was marked by the double of the KTM pilots, and the takeover in MXGP of Romain Febvre, second of the GP. The French have managed rather well since Mathis Valin and Quentin Prugnières rank four and five of the MX2, while Mano Faure won in Europe 125.
The Portuguese organizers did not deserve such conditions, they who make great efforts to welcome the MXGP each year. This time again they knew how to work like patients to do and redo the track through the many showers who fell on Agueda throughout the weekend.
MX2: Adamo signs the double
We are probably repeating ourselves, but Joel Smets had entrusted it to us at the start of the season: we will have to count on Andrea Adamo! And it is true that the Italian has never been as strong as this season, mastering for example the Portuguese mud as no one else. Winner of the two rounds, he twice took the best on Sacha Coenen who had succeeded in the best starts; If he dropped in the first round, Sacha stayed in contact throughout the second round that he finished four seconds. His misadventure from the first round-he ranks nineteenth-rejects him far from the podium, occupied as often this season by Kay de Wolf (3/3) and Simon Längenfelder (2/4) who both fell! A small fall in each round for Kay, a bigger one at the start of the second round for Simon, which remains less penalizing than the two falls of Liam Everts (11/DNF) which drops shortly after the first departure then at the start of the second round. Too bad, it was conditions for him! At the foot of the podium we find Mathis Valin fourth (6/5) and Quentin Prugnières fifth (4/10) despite a very bad start in the second round.

MXGP : Or will Lucas Coenen stop?
Very well placed on the grid after his qualification success, Lucas Coenen offered himself the two Holeshots, each time in front of Romain Febvre. Both flew over the MXGP sleeves, Lucas managing with mastery and replicating blow in the first round when Romain has twice the advantage. Romain will not take other risks, especially since behind them was measured to worry them. His second place allows him to seize the leading red plate, a first for so many time! The HRC is a little consoled with the Podium by Ruben Fernandez (3/3) which made two solid sleeves without ever being able to worry the head duo. Long third in the first round Brain Bogers will fall and put it back in the second round, leaving Andrea Bonacorsi (6/5) to sign the best result of the Fantic with a fourth place. Paraux Jonass (4/8) Author of a good return, Glenn Coldenhoff (8/6) and Maxime Renaux (5/9) who fell at the start of each round but did not let go to get precious points.

Europe 125: and three for Faure
Already victorious twice in 125, Mano Faure presented the cover this weekend by delivering a perfect second round! Author of the best start he quickly saw the Alvisi threat disappear after the Italian went to the fault, and without making the slightest error – unlike the day before – he won (4/1) before Alvisi (1/7) and Francesco Bellei (3/4).

Europe 250: Reisulis a cartridge
After an abandonment due to technical problems during each of the last two events, Janis Reisulis signed a net doubled in Agueda and resumed a small mattress in the championship. He won ahead of Noel Zanocz (4/2) and Francisco Garcia (3/4) decidedly at ease in all conditions, Adrien Petit taking an encouraging seventh place (13/5) for his return while Paolo Maschio (10/15) signs his best result with an eleventh place to the general. We find Europe 250 next weekend in Spain!
