It is traditionally Jerez de la Frontera that welcomes the first day of MotoGP tests organized in the wake of a Grand Prix. Starting pilots, as well as some trials, have been hard at work this morning to work to maintain his advance in the case of Ducati, and to return to the Italian brand for all other manufacturers! However, a pilot is missing, Franco Morbidelli.
The pilot of the VR46 stable had to declare for this day of testing because of his fall this Sunday. The Italian indeed got up with a cervical bruise, and not to risk more damage, the decision was made with his team to put it in rest. The objective being of course that Morbidelli is completely given for the Grand Prix de France in Le Mans, from May 9 to 11. This is how only Fabio Di Giannantonio defends the colors of the “Doctor” stable on the Andalusian route this Monday.
After five Grands Prix, Franco Morbidelli points to fifth row in the world championship, just in front of his teammate.
