A new chapter opens for Moroccan higher education. THE Atlantic group announced the official authorization of its private university “theInternational Averroes University (UIA) ”. The decision was validated on Friday April 25, 2025, after the meeting of the National Commission for Coordination of Higher Education (Cnaces).
The Atlantic group formalizes the launch of an ambitious academic pole in Sidi Maârouf, bringing together three prestigious schools and an applied research center.
With this green light, the UIA becomes a new pole of academic excellence in Casablanca, bringing together three specialized schools: Averroès Engineering School, Averroès Business School, and Averroes School of Law and Politics. The University also includes an Executive Center and an applied research center, affirming its ambition to actively contribute to the production of knowledge and the formation of high -level talents.
“Our objective is to train high -level executives in trades and future skills that ensure professional success and contribute to the influence of Morocco in Africa and internationally,” said Nabil Cherkaoui, general manager of the university.
Located in Sidi Maârouf, route de Nouaceur, on the hill site, the UIA has a modern campus that can accommodate up to 2,500 students. The infrastructure has been designed to stimulate innovation, creativity and interaction, at the service of the learning and well-being of students and teaching teams.
The university is distinguished by an innovative educational model, based on a strong proximity to the business world. Thanks to a strategic partnership with CDG Invest, the UIA sets up a unique work -study model in Morocco, which allows students to alternate academic and vocational immersion training.
