It also benefits from the participation of several directors general of weather services in African countries, such as Mozambique, Ghana and Cameroon, thus stressing the importance of South-South cooperation in terms of climate and resilience in the face of weather risks.
The World Meteorological Organization Program (OMM) supports partnerships, initiatives and international cooperation mechanisms. In collaboration with National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (SMHN), it contributes to the implementation of the objectives of sustainable development by 2030. These services can also rely on WMO partnerships to strengthen their intersectoral cooperation via national climatological services and the global framework for climatological services.
