Defeating Morocco autism has launched three major campaigns, scheduled from April 30 to June 30, 2025, to raise public awareness and defend the rights of autistic children. This initiative was announced at the end of the month of autism, as part of an effort to make autism a national priority.
The 2025 report of the organization, entitled “Abandoned autism”, draws up an alarming observation of the situation in Morocco. He underlines the inaction of public authorities, the indifference of society in the face of families’ difficulties, intolerance still present in schools, as well as the absence of early diagnosis and adapted educational solutions.
The three initiatives include “autistic and capable!”, A media campaign aimed at changing the perceptions of autism; “I deserve a chance”, an international petition demanding effective public policies for autism; And “I act for the future of my child”, a national survey intended to collect the testimonies of families and to develop appropriate responses.
M’HAMMED SAJIDI, founding president to defeat Morocco autism, said: “We can no longer close our eyes to the exclusion of autistic children. It is urgent to act collectively to guarantee them a worthy future in Morocco. ”
The organization calls for civil society, public and private institutions, as well as Moroccans living abroad, to join this movement to build a more inclusive society.
