After the launch in 2020 of Docti.ma, the first e-Health platform in Morocco digitizing the care path, Mehdi El Kouhen, launched a private academy in paramedical training.
This well-known entrepreneurial doctor of the Moroccan scientific and entrepreneurial community, recently created Paramedical Academy Private, a private establishment for teaching nurses and nursing assistants.
With a first site in Casablanca, this new player is duly authorized by the Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Enterprise, Employment and Skills.

This well -targeted project aims to fill in part the enormous need to Morocco with paramedical staff and which is, according to a recent report by the Democratic Health Organization (ODS), to more than 60,000 nurses and health technicians.
Based on the recommendations of the world Health Organization (WHO) for good coverage of medical staff, a ratio of 60 nurses for 10,000 inhabitants, Morocco barely claims a dozen, which corresponds to one of the lowest rates of the demography of nursing staff in the Arab world!

This means that Paramedical Academy Privé has an undeniable opportunity, while the number of health establishments continues to increase year after year, especially in the wake of the push of large private health groups (AKDITAL, CIM Santé, Oncorad, etc.).
