Tens of thousands of Moroccans invested the street again, yesterday Sunday, in Rabat to denounce the pursuit of the normalization of makhzen relations with the Zionist entity and renew their solidarity with the Palestinian people, in the grip of wild Zionist attacks for more than a year and a half, have reported media on the spot.
Despite pouring rain, the demonstrators have crisscrossed the main alleys of the capital Rabat, while chanting slogans against normalization and betrayal by the Makhzen of the Palestinian cause.
“Down with standardization”, “normalization: complicity”, “we are all ghaza”, chanted the demonstrators throughout their journey, the media reported.
Present on the spot, the president of the Moroccan observatory against standardization, Ahmed Ouihmane, launched an appeal to the Moroccan authorities to end any relationship with the Zionist occupier, affirming that now, “nothing differs the makhzen from the allies of the Zionist entity who commits a genocidal aggression against the Palestinian people”.
In the same wake, the Moroccan student movement continues its manifestations against normalization with the Zionist entity through the universities of the kingdom, particularly highlighting the rupture of all normalization in the academic field.
In a joint statement made public on Sunday, the organization of student renewal and the student initiative for the defense of the questions of the fatherland and the nation said that the anti-normization of the students experienced “unprecedented” success and “record” membership with students.
“Indeed, no less than 56 universities across the country experienced a total or partial strike on Sunday,” said the Executive Committee for the National Coordination for the strike, noting that 7 other protest gatherings were organized by students outside the university.
The organization of student renewal and the student initiative for the defense of the questions of the homeland and the nation have “promised that the Moroccan university will remain the bastion of resistance and responsible combat, as well as a rampart against the projects of the Zionist entity and the intrusion of the latter in Morocco”, denouncing the repression of two demonstrations of students outside the university by the makhzen security services.
They also reiterated their appeal to the universities of the kingdom signatory to conventions with the Zionist entity to terminate these and to break any relationship with the Zionist entity.
