This agreement was signed on the occasion of the visit made this Friday by the Minister of State, Minister of Ivorian Defense, Téné Birahima Ouattara, who was received by the Minister Delegate in charge of the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi.
The said agreement concerns the strengthening of military cooperation, particularly in the fields of training, training and military health, as well as technical assistance and the exchange of expertise in various common interest sectors, said a statement from the National Defense Administration.
During these interviews, Mr. Loudyi highlighted the royal initiative aimed at transforming the Atlantic facade of Africa into a pole of economic integration, a space of peace, stability and shared prosperity, including the Atlantic countries of the continent, and also facilitating access to landlocked countries in this maritime space.
For his part, the Ivorian Minister of State underlined the highly priority and strategic nature of the partnership between Côte d’Ivoire and Morocco. He also praised King Mohammed VI’s commitment in favor of South-South cooperation, for the benefit of African partners.
At the end of this meeting, the two parties expressed their common ambition and desire to strengthen their relations through the implementation of the provisions of the cooperation agreement in the military field signed today, reflecting the relations of friendship and mutual respect which binds the two countries, concludes the same source.
