The Rabat Court of Appeal pronounced, Thursday, May 8, in the time, a sentence of fifteen years of firm imprisonment against Hicham Jerando, judged in absentia. This fugitive was prosecuted for the constitution of a terrorist organization and incentive to commit acts of extreme violence, learned Barlamane.com of its sources.

The procedure was opened following a formal complaint filed by Najim Bensami, former prosecutor General of the King near the Court of Appeal of Casablanca. The latter accuses Hicham Jerando of having fomented a project having for purpose of “Gravely affecting public order by fear, threats, violence, and by pushing others to commit terrorist acts.”

According to the label selected, the charges are articulated around the “Constitution of a terrorist band in order to prepare and commit criminal acts within the framework of a collective design directed against the security of the State.”

The elements payable, deemed sufficiently overwhelming by the court, led to the of Hicham Jerando, renowned for its defamatory practices. The procedure remains to possible additional prosecution.
