Between pride, commitment and confidence
In a declaration granted to the newspaper “Le Matin”, Naïma Ben Yahia expressed his honor to see Morocco succeed Egypt to the presidency ofu OFA Superior Council. She stressed that the OFS is an organ enjoying a strong presence at the regional level, and that Morocco has contributed significantly thanks to its experts, always involved in training programs. “This recognition therefore testifies to Morocco’s constant commitment to Arab women’s rights,” she insisted. For the minister, this appointment is much more than a simple honor; It also represents an opportunity to continue work for a more egalitarian future for all Arab women. “This is a great opportunity to strengthen our actions to advance gender equality“, She added. Indeed, this role of leadership will allow Morocco to share its advances in terms of women’s rightsto strengthen cooperation between the Arab countries and, above all, to accelerate the implementation of concrete reforms in favor of gender equality.
Remember that the 10ᵉ OFA General Conferenceorganized in Cairo on the theme “Communication, empowerment and protection of women and girls against cyberviolence and violence resulting from technology and artificial intelligence”, addressed a particularly important subject. This often invisible challenge is now at the heart of concerns about gender equality and Women’s safety in the digital space. The event brought together several experts from different Arab countries to deal with this crucial problem.
