
The president of the Cap-Vert/Morocco parliamentary friendship group, Orlando Pereira Dias, reiterated, Monday to the House of Representatives, the support of his country to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and to its sovereignty over the whole of its territory.
Mr. Pereira Dias, accompanied by an important Cape Verdean parliamentary delegation, underlined, during an interview with the president of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, that this position is constant and that his country supports Morocco with all continental and international bodies, reports a press release from the House of Representatives.
On this occasion, he praised the efforts made by His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the service of the development of the African continent, putting an before the major projects launched by Morocco and the momentum of progress and prosperity experienced by the kingdom under the informed conduct of the sovereign.
For his part, the president of the House of Representatives expressed thanks to the government and the Parliament of the Republic of Cap-Vert for the support of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, welcoming the excellence of relations between the two countries.

The current visit of the CAP-Vert/Morocco parliamentary friendship group and other similar visits are likely to strengthen the links of cooperation and continuous communication between the legislative institutions of the two countries, in addition to creating new spaces and opportunities for partnership and common coordination in the various parliamentary meetings, he noted.
These interviews have also highlighted the exceptional character of the relationships of friendship between Morocco and Cape Verde and mutual support in international forums, notes the press release.
The two parties also highlighted their respective parliamentary experiences and underlined the importance of communication, permanent dialogue, the exchange of visits and the sharing of expertise and parliamentary experiences, in order to strengthen the relations between the legislative institutions of the two countries and to promote them at the service of the common causes and the development of the African continent.
The CAP-Vert/Morocco parliamentary friendship group, which visits the kingdom from April 12 to 18, includes, in addition to its president, parliamentarians Carlos Tavares Rodrigues, Nelson Do Rosario Brito, Carla Santos de Carvalho, Luis Joaquim Gonçalves Pires and Aniceto by Jesus Lopes Cardoso Barbosa, in addition to administrative officials.
