The Morocco pavilion at the Paris Fair where the Kingdom is invited to honor had a strong crowd in the first week of this great festive event and shopping in France.
Inaugurated, last Wednesday, the national pavilion organized by the Maison de l’Artisan extending over an area of almost 400 m2 shows a great diversity of crafts through exhibitors representing different regions of the kingdom. From the art of the caftan to the work of the Zellige, passing through the craft of the carpet, wood and stucco, each product embodies an inimitable know-how rooted in the cultural and historical DNA of the Kingdom.
According to the organizers, the Morocco pavilion is among the busiest in this edition of the Paris Fair.
Several French personalities have also lingered there during their great tour of the Fair, notably the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, elected officials and local officials and many tourists and members of the Moroccan diaspora.
In addition to the representatives of different craftsmen of all the regions of Morocco, namely: carpet, leather, clothing, dinantry, jewelry, cosmetic products and decoration, the Moroccan pavilion offers sensory immersion in the richness and diversity of Moroccan craft know-how.
-As part of this participation, a rich and varied animation program furnished every day the moments of discovery in this pavilion, flooded in national colors and highlighting the living heritage, hospitality and ancestral Moroccan know-how.
Cooking shows hosted by the famous chef Kamal Laabi, known as Kimo, Chaabi music shows sometimes with nostalgic rhythms drawn from the repertoire of Nass El Ghiwane, sometimes from the patriotic fervor (Nida Al Hassan, Laayoune Ayniya) decorate the atmosphere of the national pavilion to the delight of visitors.
Also on the menu of the demonstrations of the craft professions, henna and calligraphy tattoo workshops, as well as the famous ceremony for the preparation and tasting of Moroccan tea.
On Friday May 9, an entire day will be dedicated to Morocco in the space “Village Talents d’Afrique” in the heart of the Palais des Expositions “Paris Expo Porte de Versailles”. It will be marked in particular by musical performances, fashion shows and demonstrations of Moroccan know -how in various fields.
The Paris Fair is one of the most important commercial and general public events in France, which has been held annually for more than 120 years. It knows the participation of more than 1,200 exhibitors, with nearly 3,500 brands spread over 6 halls, over more than 100,000 m² for twelve days.
