The kingdom is represented in this conclave, organized by the French economic publication “La Tribune” and the Aix Marseille Provence metropolis under the theme “Innovates together”, by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh, the Minister of Energy and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali, the Minister Delegate in charge of investment, convergence and evaluation of public policies, Karim Zidane, and the embassy of His Majesty the King in France, Samira Sitaïl.
Several economic decision -makers and managers of public enterprises also take part in this forum, notably the president of the General Confederation of Morocco Businesses (CGEM) Chakib Alj, the Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Exports (AMDIE), Ali Seddiki, the CEO of the Tanger Med group, Mehdi Tazi Riffi and the Casablanca Finance City (CFC) Ibrahimi.
The forum, which aims to be a major meeting highlighting the challenges, opportunities and synergies between the African and European nations, began its work with a high-level sequence dedicated to Morocco as a guest of honor of this edition which notably brings together players in industry, transport and tech to debate global issues and innovative solutions.
The organization of this forum intervenes, according to its initiators, in a global context which resumes the cards where Europe and Africa are together a force capable of weighing on the international chessboard.
“Linked by complementary resources and common interests, the two continents must know how to be audacity, spirit of innovation and capacity to invent a new model”, support the organizers, starting from the conviction that “with the Mediterranean in line of union and in shared wealth, the desire to play a role in the next decade is possible, provided that you can lay down the basics of fair cooperation”.
