Digital invites itself at high speed in the Moroccan sky. On the occasion of the 3ᵉ edition of Gitex Africathe Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Royal Air Morocco and theDigital Development Agency (ADD) signed a strategic partnership agreement to accelerate the digitalization of the travel sector and make Morocco a continental hub of the TravelTech. Carried by the high royal orientations and integrated into the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, this alliance is based on three pillars:
- Joint promotion of Gitex Africa, with Royal Air Maroc as an official carrier, guaranteeing international visibility and advantageous conditions for participating African startups.
- Development of a Moroccan Traveltech ecosystem, through innovation support: startup identification, mentoring, regional roadshows, launch of the RAM Digital Open Innovation program, and creation of a “Traveltech Innovator” label.
- Co-innovation and dissemination of skills, with training, awareness workshops and easy access to platforms such as Moukawala Raqmya and Academia Raqmya, for SMEs in the sector.
Three institutions, the same ambition
This partnership embodies a public-private collaborative dynamic aimed at infusing new impetus to the travel industry in the Digital Era. “This strategic collaboration embodies our common vision of making digital a real growth accelerator for the Moroccan economy.
