The Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mr. Abdessamad Kayouh, had interviews with the Qatari Minister of Transport on Monday, Cheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al Thani on Monday, relating to the means of strengthening cooperation in the field of air transport between the two countries.
This interview, held in the presence of the ambassador of Morocco to Qatar, Mr. Mohamed Setri, and members of the Moroccan delegation participating in the International Conference organized by the Organization of International Civil Aviation (OCAI) on the facilitation of the future of air transport, was an opportunity for Mr. Kayouh to highlight the various projects committed by Morocco to promote the fluidity of air transport and guarantee the most Standards in terms of safety and security of passengers.
In a statement to the press, Mr. Kayouh said that this meeting made it possible to present the projects carried out by the kingdom in line with the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to develop the infrastructures linked to transport, in particular aerial, in anticipation of the major events that Morocco is preparing to organize, including the 2030s football world cup.

During his interviews, Mr. Kayouh highlighted the various projects initiated by Morocco, including highways, new generation railway lines, high -speed trains (TGV), as well as airport extension projects and the increase in the air fleet, which will make it possible to carry the capacity of the Kingdom’s airports from 38 to 80 million passengers by 2030.
-Similarly, he indicated that this meeting was an opportunity to discuss the Qatari experience in air transport during the 2022 World Cup and the measures taken to ensure fluid mobility towards and from Doha, in addition to the current actions and projects of Qatar to improve the quality of air transport and services to travelers.
And to specify that the Qatari Minister expressed, on this occasion, the great will of his country to strengthen cooperation with Morocco in the field of air transport.
The work of the International Conference Facilitation of the OACI began on Monday in Doha, under the theme “facilitating the future of air transport”.
