3 Doors Down was forced to cancel his last tour after the group’s singer and drummer, Brad Arnold, was diagnosed with stadium cancer.
Brad Arnold announced the news on Wednesday, via social media.
“Hi everyone, it’s Brad of 3 Doors Down,” the Kryptonite singer started in his Instagram video. “I hope you have a great day today. I have less good news for you. ”
Arnold learned that he had kidney cancer “a few weeks ago” after falling ill and went to hospital. It was there that the doctors discovered that cancer was stadium 4 and that it had already spread to its lungs.
“I was sick a few weeks ago, then I went to the hospital and I was examined and I received the diagnosis that I had renal cell carcinoma with clear cells that had metastasized in my lung,” he said. “And it’s stadium 4, and it’s not really good.”
Despite the shocking news, the singer of Let Me Go shared that he was “not afraid” of the diagnosis.
“What do you know?” We serve a powerful God, and he can overcome everything. So I have no fear. I’m really not afraid at all. ”
3 Doors Down was forced to cancel their next tour, which was to start in Florida on May 15.
