Wednesday, April 30, Magali Fournier, dietician, intervened at the Saint-Laurent residence for a kitchen workshop, offered by the residence. Magali Fournier is a nutritionist, from the Nutrimania network. The latter, created in 2010, brings together professionals with complementary skills in the field of food and geriatrics.
Antoinette, Raymonde, Denise and Yvonne, Residents, Françoise, Irène, Marie-Madeleine and Michèle, volunteers, worked in pairs for this workshop “Pleasure, Cuisine et Health”. Before the technical phase, the creation of a zucchini cake and a custard, the participants exchanged with Magali Fournier. They were able to say what the word cooking evoked for them: the mother, the child, Sunday, sharing, friends, etc.
The exchanges were interesting, each with anecdotes concerning their diet, their family meals, parties, their discoveries. Dorothée, the host of the residence, at the end of the workshop shared the delicious cake and the tasty cream despite its lumpy aspect, which Dorothée regretted, since it was her work, but that all so savored with greed.
