“A real scandal”
The metro 3 was reminded of two parts. A first part of metroidation of the existing underground tram, between Albert and Brussels North, is already under construction, despite the multiple, time-consuming and expensive disappointments at the Palais du Midi. A partial commissioning of this line is not planned, in latest news, before the end of 2031. The second part consists of an extension, a brand new tunnel, up to Bordet via Schaerbeek and Evere: the project, always without permit and without sustainable funding, is frozen in the absence of a new regional executive.
