(McKinney) Scottie Scheffler equaled the PGA record on 72 holes with a total of 253 on Sunday, winning eight blows ahead of the Byron Nelson tournament, disputed near the city where he grew up.

The world number 1 has scored a 63, finishing at 31 strokes under normal.
Scheffler equaled the record set by Justin Thomas in 2017, at the Sony omnium, then equaled six years later by Ludvig Aberg, to the classic RSM.
Scheffler was in a position to break the record before a bad approach that led to a bugy at 17e hole. He then registered normal from a sand pit at the last hole. There was a little eight -feet rolled there for a Oiselet.
