OM leads the crazy race to Europe, Saint-Etienne on the edge of the abyss

In the absence of a suspense for the title of champion of France, the last two days of Ligue 1 promise to be exciting for the race for the Champions League. At the end of this weekend, Olympique de Marseille retained its 2nd place in favor of its 1-1 draw obtained in Lille (5th).

Large winners, Monaco, Nice and Strasbourg made good deals to set off in the Marseillais wheel. Quite the opposite of Olympique Lyonnais, beaten by Lens (1-2) and now 7th. A 7th place which will be qualifying for a European Cup – the conference league – only if Paris Saint -Germain won the final of the French Cup against the Stade de Reims (May 24 at the Stade de France).

At the bottom of the ranking, AS Saint-Etienne, dominated on Saturday by Monaco, is found on the edge of the precipice. 17th and first relegation direct, the Greens are relegated four points from Le Havre (16th), overthrowing in Auxerre (1-2). Winner in Nantes (0-1), Angers (14th) is also breathing.
