The veteran Josh Anderson remains one of the great leaders, while being a valiant warrior, within Sainte-Flanelle. Anderson plays with the very marked body, which undoubtedly inspires his teammates to do the same. He is one of the great “carriers” of this new culture at Bleu-Blanc-Rouge.
By the way, what does the big brother Josh Anderson think about the singular talent of the new young teammate, Ivan Demidov? Let’s say that number 93 was quick to charm his work colleagues because of his fabric as of his first presence in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Here is the dialogue of number 17 about Demiidov:
“It is an exceptional talent. You could see that his possibilities were unlimited. I know that it is only a match for the moment, but all over the skating rink, seeing him accomplish what he did last night was incredible to see. This organization is lucky to have a player like him! ”
My favorite part of this plea remains this one: “This organization is lucky to have a player like him!”
It is so true that blue-white-red is “lucky” to have such talent. If Demidov had evolved on this side of the ocean, he would have presented himself the very first on the Tribune de Vegas last June. We are talking about a player as exceptional as Macklin Celebrini, nothing less.
The most ironic in all of this is that Lane Hutson could win the palm of the recruit of the year (Calder trophy) in 2024-25, while Demidov could win this fact of arms in 2025-26. He holds all the assets to succeed in such a feat, which will certainly make CH a formidable clan on the next calendar.
