Nintendo has currently set the sale price of the Nintendo Switch 2 at $ 450 on the American market. However, the president of the Japanese company, Shuntaro Furukawaspoke about a possible future increase if the customs tariffs were to be modified by the current (American) administration.
The latter said Nintendo could consider adjusting prices if “customs tariffs change significantly”. Here is what the president of Nintendo said Shuntaro Furukawa, relayed by Yahoo Japan:
Our basic policy is to consider customs duties as a cost when determining the sale price in each country or region and to integrate them into the price. If the forecasts concerning customs duties change significantly, we will consider and implement price adjustments after taking into account several aspects.
