The owners of Inouk, in the lot, ended up finding the 11 -year -old dog in a field, dead and with the attached legs.
Inouk had disappeared for several weeks, its owners feared the worst but did not expect such a cruel outcome. The dog, an 11 -year -old shepherd, used to go for a walk outside the home, in the village of the town (lot), sometimes to a farm located 2 kilometers belonging to the son of the owners. But this time, he never returned.
Christian Faure and his family looked for Inouk, in vain, for days. They ended up saying that the dog had been hung by a car somewhere. But the animal ended up being discovered in a field, dead and in a state of decomposition, while its legs were tied up, report our colleagues from the Dépêche du Midi.
-“He may have done something stupid, but from there to do that …”
Inouk was “impressive, but he was nice. Maybe he made a stupidity, killed hens or something else, I don’t say. But from there to do that …”, blows Christian Faure.
There is no doubt that Inouk was killed. “He did not allow himself to be approached by strangers, so I think he was tied up once dead to be dragged in this field, quite far from the road. He was still 50 kg”. Inouk was found less than a kilometer from the farm of Christian Faure’s son, in which the dog used to surrender.
Christian Faure, who was mayor of the village of the town until 2020, decided not to file a complaint, but is addressed to those who would be responsible for the death of the animal: “Inouk, it was the dog of our family, perhaps a dog, but his death in these conditions makes us all very sad. I have no word to qualify this gesture as a coward”.
