Epitech, a IT school, reaffirms its commitment to a more inclusive tech by participating in the 13ᵉ edition of the Les Margaret by JFD ceremony, which was held on April 29, 2025 in the Gaveau room, under the high patronage of the President of the French Republic. This emblematic event is today the only female tech price of this scale in France.
An emblematic price, meaningful
Created in 2013 by the Digital Woman Day (JFD), the Prix Les Margaret pays tribute to Margaret Hamilton, computer pioneer at NASA. Each year, it rewards women entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and young girls in Europe, Africa and Canada, whose innovative projects meet major societal challenges.
2025 edition: “Women Raising”: the pioneers of AI in the spotlight
The 2025 edition celebrated the audacity of women who revolutionize the field of artificial intelligence. “Women rAIsing” Reflects the strength of a collective that redefines codes, opens up new perspectives and builds a more human and inclusive tech.
Epitech, jury and mentor at the service of inclusion
As a member of the jury, Laura Hassan had the honor of postponing a prize and will accompany the winners throughout the year in the JFD acceleration program. This partnership illustrates Epitech’s constant will to support initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities in the technological sector.
“Innovation in AI cannot be done without the diversity of looks, expertise, and in particular those carried by women. The Prix Les Margaret shows that women are already there, that they build the tech of tomorrow. They must be visible, supported, recognized. This price reveals what tech can produce better when it opens: it is up to us to highlight them, to accompany them, and above all, to make them room. »» Says Laura Hassan, CEO of Epitech
