We asked for your views on West Ham’s Premier League draw against Tottenham.
Here are some of your comments:
Mike: Very poor performance again by West Ham. Quite apart from the dreadful defensive mistake by Max Kilman to give Tottenham the lead, our midfield were woeful all game, particularly Lucas Paqueta, preferring to defend rather than attack. Just pleased that there are three weaker teams in the league to prevent our relegation.

Myles: So many hours wasted watching the Hammers this year, and for what? Only Jarrod Bowen and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are in any kind of form. I don’t blame Potter, yet, but his selection is questionable. Paqueta has been a liability in midfield for two years and undeserving of a start. There is nothing to lose anymore. Play the kids and maybe we unearth a gem.
Hayley: Disappointed we didn’t win as I was really hoping to finish above Spurs this season. It’s good to see Potter making lots of substitutions. He did try to go for it. Onward and upward. Really need to win our remaining games if any hope of finishing above Spurs.
Michael: Think probably like me most West Ham fans can’t wait for the season to finish. Need to offload a lot of this squad and let Potter bring players in to suit his playing style – whatever that might be
Brendan: It kind of sums up the season. An insipid draw against Spurs. There you go. We all desperately need a summer break.

James: Very much an end-of-season feel to it. Spurs obviously have an eye on the Europa League. As for West Ham, it feels as if the end of the season can’t come soon enough and a major reshuffle is needed. It is not really on Potter at this point. He needs a transfer window to implement what he wants.
Stuart: Not good enough. If things carry on the way they are, we will be in the same position next season and can only see it getting tougher. Hopefully some decent changes can be made during the summer and we start playing the Hammers way!
Barry: If there was ever a day for Spurs and West Ham fans to unite, it was today. Every player should have been booed off for that utter dross.
