Russian strikes left two people dead and at least 27 injured in the night of Thursday to Friday in Kharkiv and Soumy, northeast of Ukraine, the Ukrainian authorities announced. In one of the attacks, a ballistic missile with submunition was used.
In Kharkiv, one person died and 26 were injured according to a provisional assessment, said the city mayor, Igor Terekhov, on Telegram.
-This manager said that the weapon used was “a ballistic missile with submunitions, which explains that the affected area is very large”. Fifteen residential buildings have been impacted, according to this source.
Local governor, Oleg Synegubov, stressed that the attack had targeted an “densely populated area of Kharkiv”.
In Soumy, near the Russian border, an Iranian manufacturing drone attack Shahed made one dead and an injured, also said the local military administration, also on Telegram.
