The Cyclists of Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic had to travel this Thursday, May 8, 143 km, broken down in 88.3 km with 10 Ribinious (Chemin) and six towers of 8.7 km, before crossing the finish line in Plouhinec. The public had gathered there en masse to follow the race on the big screen whose last laps made it possible to discover the splendid beach of Gwrerez. Behind the security barriers, he ovationed the sportsmen who suffered until the last moment.
In a festive atmosphere, the association of Breton dances ar c’hab e tansal animated the expectation of the final arrival accompanied by the musicians of the Kigner Ar Goyen group. Antoine Michelin, already present the previous year, and Damien Martin, commentator of the Tour de France, were present together to comment with fervor a race which they found magnificent both in view of the extraordinary landscapes and the quality of the race.
In the morning, 360 registrations were recorded for cycling and pedestrian hikes with a majority of women for the latter. A very good day which put CAP-SIZUN and PLOUHINEC in the spotlight and which rejoiced all the participants.
Yves Thomas, at the origin of what has become in a short time an international race, warmly thanked all the volunteers of the association, the town hall of Plouhinec, the municipal and inter -municipal teams for their mobilization and the unfailing organization. Faced with the success of the day, an appointment is made for 2026 of course!
