In the aftermath of a May 1st rich in good results for the Vellave club, the weekend that ends again brought its share of good performance both on the way and mountain biking.

Organized by the Passy club as part of the Mont-Blanc massif This regional trophy of the young mountain biker proposed a timed descent (DH) on Saturday afternoon and a cross-country on Sunday in the morning.
Alban Fink in the U13 (Benjamins) and Elio Arnaud category in U15 (minimal) perform two good performances on the acute slopes of the DH, in a discipline for which they do not prepare specifically. Alban arrives 19th out of 66 runners and Elio 32nd out of 57.
They will be much more comfortable the next day on the cross-country event even if their respective positioning on the starting line is not to their advantage. 56th on the grid and already 20th at the end of the Start Loop, Elio achieves a good performance by finishing 18th on the 57 pointed pilots.
Alban for his part, and faithful to his habit, embarks on a magnificent ascent which makes him integrate the top 10 since he gleaned 9th place on 76 contenders.
At the cumulation of the two Elio competitions arrives 26th out of 57 competitors and Alban 12th out of 67.

Widely to its advantage on this FSGT race run on a 2.7 km circuit to cover twenty-three times, the younger confirms its immense progress by adjusting the sprint in a good way against two opponents with which it was escaped.

At the cumulation of several disciplines that are games, sprint, cyclo-cross and online race, Maelig Gueguen and Raphaël Le Boucher rank 7 and 8th in this event organized by the Brivadois sport bicycle.

The feminine of the VCV never ceases to garner the victories. It wins again this Sunday in women in this FSGT race run on a hilly circuit of 5.4 km to cover 8 times.
