essential
Sunday, April 27, the bike was at the Muret party with a beautiful day of shopping organized in tribute to Clément Ader.
One hundred and eighty runners responded to offer spectators raised tests, in a fair play spirit that delighted young and old.
The success of this day would not have been possible without the commitment of the many volunteers, the FSGT commission, the speaker Jean-Paul Servat, or without the effective support of the Duplan ambulance, always ready to intervene. Three falls are unfortunately to be deplored; We want a speedy recovery to the runners concerned.
On the performance side, the Muretains made the powder speak with 19 runners engaged in all categories. In 5th category, Olivier Delmas had initially cut the line in 1st before being finally downgraded following a complaint. Patrice Labo is essential in the classification of the challenge, confirming his regularity.
Among the women, Laurence Champaloux climbs on the 3rd step of the podium, with a nice smile as a bonus. In 3rd category, Théo Cayre signs a beautiful 4th place, while promise for the next deadlines.
Finally, in 1st category, Alexandre Pedemanaud achieves the perfect race. After joining the right breakaway, he was able to count on excellent teamwork to approach the sprint in the best conditions.
“A mammoth sprint”
Congratulations to all the Muretan runners, who knew how to give the best of themselves under the encouragement fed by the public.
A big thank you also to the partners and the town hall of Muret for their precious logistics support. The spectators, who came numerous, gave voice to encourage runners throughout the route. The warm atmosphere carried the escaped and animated the sprints.
