On Sunday, the strategy paid for Kenan the Nadan. “I didn’t really know what to expect when I got here. The team strategy was to attack fairly early and we found ourselves two from the club ahead with Antoine Le Fresne who played the title of open 3 ”. The two runners of the Quimperlé UC were accompanied by five men. They resisted for 70 km in the peloton.
Two titles for Quimperlé
15 km from the goal, Kenan the Nadan exploded this group to isolate himself in mind: “I trusted myself, I thought I could hold but it finally came back in the last round”. Indeed, Thomas Lang (Morlaix CP) succeeds in making the junction with Antoine Le Fresne wedged at his wheel. Two against one, the Quimperlois have maneuvered well in the final, Kenan the Nadan getting around again in the last hectometers to win in front of his supporters, his teammate Antoine Le Fresne winning the title of open 3.
The title U19 for Axel pruning
Less than a minute from the six men who remained at the front of the race, the peloton sprint was won by Michel Hornec. It was in the big peloton that we had to find the champion of Finistère des Juniors, Axel Taillez (CC Bourg-Blanc), 10th in the race, which narrowly beat Ivann Jaouenn (Sportbreizh) classified 11th.
For Kenan the Nadan, this fourth victory of the season will allow him to evolve in open 1 for the rest of the season. He will notably target the Brittany championship in this category on June 8 in Kerstran, in Brech, where he had already imposed himself two years ago “it is a circuit which suits me well” confirms the new champion of Finistère.
