For this weekend Hugo Antunes moved to Chazey-sur-Ain to participate in the Souvenir Alexis Guilgaut Prize organized by the Vélo Club d’Ambrieu in order to confront other U15 runners from the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Voisin regional committee.
On the program for the day agility and online race games.
The games took place in the morning on a wet platform following a downpour. Hugo will get the best time despite a fault that will make him lose 5 seconds.
In the afternoon under the sun but with wind for online race on an un hilly and rolling circuit of 3.5km to travel 8 times.
During the first round the peloton will remain grouped by rolling at very low speed. For the second round Hugo will attack to put rhythm to the peloton which will then burst into 2 groups. He will make a single round in mind but not seeing himself fighting alone against the wind will decide to stop his effort and place himself in the group of seven pursuers to perform the last 4 laps a little more shelter.
The arrival will end at the sprint, Hugo will take third place in the race.
In the end of this day in the general classification Hugo will ride the first step.
Seniors engaged in Urzy
5 Creusotins made the trip to Urzy: Fabrice Bost, Mathieu Perroux, Romain Charles, Alexis Bonnardot and Gary Grillot.
A 3.1 km circuit to be made 26 times with a total of 1000 m of elevation gain (2 bumps in it) awaited the competitors.
. The rain was invited on the line from the start J and will stay on a good part of the race.
A high level for this event with many open 1 runners on a circuit with many reminders.
