The trial should resume Friday and hear the testimony of Taylor Radady, NHL player who was also part of the 2018 ECJ.
Taylor Radady, who plays for Washington’s capital, testified from a distance from Arlington, Virginia on Wednesday afternoon.
Michael McLeod, Carter Hart, Alex formenton, Dillon Dube and Callan Fote all pleaded not guilty of sexual assault in connection with a meeting in a hotel room in London, Ontario, in June 2018.
Michael McLeod also pleaded not guilty to an additional accusation of participation in the violation of sexual assault.
Wednesday, Taylor Radady said in court that he remembered the night of the alleged incident very little, while many ECJ members were in town for a gala celebrating the team’s victory in the championship.
He said he remembered having seen Michael McLeod and another teammate, Boris Katchouk, in McLeod’s hotel room with a woman, but that he does not remember the position of the woman nor if she wore clothes.
