A new woman was accused in connection with the file of Robert Miller, this Quebec billionaire suspected of sexual crimes towards a dozen young victims several decades ago.

The 41-year-old woman, whose identity is protected by a non-publication order, was accused last March by two counts linked to pimping between 2006 and 2017.
However, she has not yet appeared within the framework of this file.
The accused had been in the sights of the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) in February 2009, according to court documents obtained by The newspaper.
She “has an active role in recruitment” and “filters the candidates before bringing them to meet Robert Miller,” said the police force.
Alerted SPVM
Ordinances targeting his cell phone then allowed investigators to locate victims who had not yet been found. Conversations with a member of Robert Miller’s professional entourage had also been found on his phone.
-The SPVM had been alerted a few months earlier by private detectives mandated by the former prolific businessman spouse. They had noticed several young girls at an address belonging to Robert Miller and had had no choice but to denounce the situation to the authorities.
However, no accusation had been authorized at the time – neither against this new accused nor against the Quebec billionaire – by the director of criminal and criminal proceedings (DPCP).
The investigation had finally been reactivated in 2023 following a report ofInvestigationin Radio-Canada, which raised the veil on the alleged recruitment of young women, certain minors, for the benefit of Robert Miller for more than 20 years.
Search mandates
Search mandates were then obtained to collect messages exchanged between the new accused and victims.

The octogenarian, now seriously ill, is also the subject of a collective action which could cost him more than $ 250M. According to the lawyer who pilots the file, 100 alleged victims are involved, including one who was only 11 years old when she received money to have sex with Miller.
